1. What Daijoubu Home is

Daijoubu Home is a rental housing service in Japan for foreign residents. You can search available rooms, see photos and floor plans, see an estimate of the move-in cost, book a viewing, and send a rental application online.

By using this site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. Listings and prices are estimates, not commitments

Room information (rent, management fee, key money, deposit, campaigns, availability) comes from landlords and management companies. Those sources change constantly and reach us with a delay, so a room you see may already be taken.

The “initial cost” figure is an ESTIMATE calculated with each company's usual formula. The real amount is set by the landlord and the management company and may differ — especially if the move-in date changes, the insurance plan changes, or the building has its own extra charges.

We work to keep information correct and current, but we cannot guarantee it is accurate at all times.

3. Sending an application does not mean the room is yours

An application sent through this site is a request. Whether you can rent depends on the screening result of the landlord, the management company and the guarantor company.

The rental contract itself is signed separately with the lessor, not with this website.

4. Your responsibilities

When you send us anything, you confirm that:

• The information and documents you send are genuine and your own. Sending someone else's documents without their consent is your own responsibility.
• You will not use the site for fraud, harassment, or anything unlawful in Japan.
• You will not use automated tools to scrape or bulk-copy listings, photos or floor plans.
• You will not probe, break or bypass the security of the system.

5. Photos, floor plans and content

Room photos, floor plans and descriptions belong to the landlord, the management company or to us. You may view and save them for your own house hunting; commercial reuse requires our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for damage arising from the site being unavailable, or from information being incorrect or out of date, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

The site links to third-party services (maps, train search, social networks). Their content is their own responsibility.

7. Personal data

How we collect, use and keep your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service changes. A revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
